Holzwaren Schill is a specialty shop for wooden goods in Vienna and Wooden toys . We carry a carefully selected range for babies, toddlers and older children – from rocking horses to wooden building blocks to didactic Montessori learning materials and Pikler climbing equipment. The company is currently run in the third generation by Friedrich Hala.

What began in 1947 as a carpentry shop was expanded in 1961 to include a retail business for wooden goods – with a focus from the very beginning on Wooden toys for children. The connection to the material wood still characterizes the company today, even though the carpentry shop itself was scaled back in the 1990s. We select our assortment based on quality and craftsmanship – predominantly products from Austria and the EU.

In the assortment you will find classic categories such as rocking horses, wooden building blocks, grab toys and pull-along animals as well as play kitchens and didactic Montessori learning materials. For the little ones, we also carry, for example, wooden pacifier chains and stroller chains.

We deliver to Austria, Germany, and Switzerland; self-pickup in Vienna is also available.
